Konzeptstudia Villa Vescovile
Die Bischofsvilla wurde ab 1706 durch den Architekten Carlo Francesco Silva erbaut. Sie sollte dem Bischof von
Como, Francesco Bonesana (1649-1709) als Sommerresidenz dienen. Das Gebäude steht heute leer und ist in einem
schlechten Erhaltungszustand. Das Projekt sieht vor die Villa als Kulturort wiederzubeleben. Gleichzeitig sollen
in dierkter Nachbarschaft nachhaltige Neubauten mit Sommer- und Seniorenwohnungen entstehen.

Concept study Villa Vescovile
The villa's construction was started in 1706 by the local Architect Carlo Francesco Silva. It was supposed to serve
as a summer residence for Como's bishop Francesco Bonesana. The project aims at a revitalization of the impressive
site as a cultural center. The other part of the program are new sustainable service apartment buildings.
